GoBase can be used in many ways. The best way to get acquainted with the program is to experiment freely and see what it returns. The program invites the user to try things out because it's very fast. Doing a full-board search in 15000+ games (that's over 3 million positions) will only take a few seconds. When the database would be double the size it would still only take a few seconds. The speed of the program doesn't really depend on the size of the database. The speed mainly depends on the number of games returned by the search.
